cajunrose's Musicboxes

Throughout the castle, both within the walls,
and outside in the gardens, are located six
musicboxes that cajunrose values highly. For in
each musicbox is not only one of her favorite
songs but also a beautifully written poem by the
castle's resident poet, Caedfel.

Below is a brief description of
where each music box is located

The first music box is located on
the mantle in the castles great hall.
It is called "New Beginnings"

New Beginnings

The next three music boxes are located in the castle's formal gardens.

The first one is in the Gazebo overlooking
the scenic view of riding paths, wild-flower
gardens and the castles own vineyard.

This music box is located to allow people
to sit and overlook the breath taking
magnitude of the castle's grounds. There
are benches in the Gazebo so visitors
can relax and allow time to enjoy the view
as well as this music box.

This musicbox contains the poem "Love Hurts".

Love Hurts

The next music box is located near cajunrose's
favorite bench under some shade trees in the
formal rose garden. This part garden is a favorit
e of hers for it is here that the peace rose grows.
It has been her signature for over 30 years.
Many of the roses in the garden are antique roses,
some coming from Empress Josephine's garden at Malmasion.

The poem in this musicbox is simply entitled
"Endings". It is a very moving poem from
Caedfel that inspires reflection as you sit in
the stillness of this garden.

Endings

The next music box is located in the formal
gardens near the fountain and the pool
where the fall leaves rest on the water until
spring when the water lilies return to announce
that nature's life cycle has once again begun.

It is one of cajunrose's favorite places to sit
and reflect. On warm, pretty days she can often
be found here listening to the music and lost in
thought on the depth of the poet's wonderful
capture of the real meaning of the title, "Let Go".

Let Go

There is magic on the grounds of the castle
and many visitors claim at time to see both
magical small beings and unicorns, but cajunrose
has never been able to confirm either.

The last two music boxes are located back
inside the castle. The next one is in the small,
private greeting lounge of cajunrose where
many new subs and Doms/Dommes meet to talk
with her and others on slow and lazy days.
Or often after a ride on one of many of the
white horses from the castles stables, they
will meet with cajunrose in her private lounge
to partake of refreshments. If surprised by a
visitor, they will often find her listening to this
musicbox and reading the poem with a far away
look of love and passion in her eyes. She is quick
to change that look to a soft smile of greeting
and often leaves the musicbox open with the
poem visible for all to read.

It is called simply "Respite".

Respite

The final music box is located in a very
special bed chamber. A chamberwhere time
seems to have stood still and the feeling
of love, the smell of passion and a touch
of fear lingers in the air from centuries
past to the present. A chamber where lovers
meet to begin a new and wonderful D/s
relationship. There is the feel of excitement
tinged with a new sub's fears. The fear that
the new Master/Mistress may not find the sub
to their liking. There is also the feel of the
many Masters/Mistresses, who over the
generations, embraced the most cherished of gifts--
a subs total submission. This bed chamber is set
aside for first time meetings, and cajunrose hopes
the music box and poem will ease a sub's fear and
remind the new Master/Mistress to cherish, love,
care and lead the beautiful submissive that gives
all to them.

It is eloquently stated in the poem named "Time".
