The Wings of the Angel by Cris Ortega

"The idea is to rescue myself from the role of a victim.
That I have a choice left. Though I can't change what has
happened, I can choose how to react. And I don't want to
spend the rest of my life being bitter and locked up."

- Tori Amos

Shattered Dreams is a collection of articles and poetry created by those of us that have had our dreams shattered through abuse. We are finding our way along the path of healing and finding the courage to renew our dreams.

Within this gallery you will find works of the heart submitted by the authors who wrote them. They are stories of dreams that were shattered and of ones that have been rebuilt from hope.  They are being shared herein, as beacons to help others find their way from the dark.

These are our stories.
