Brenda
lost
her
valiant
fight
with
cancer
on
June
28th,
however
the
contributions
she
made
to
all
of
us
will
be
a
living
legacy.
The
New
York
Area
Bisexual
Network
(NYABN)
released
the
following
upon
her
death:
"It
is
with
great
sorrow
that
the
family
and
friends
of
Brenda
Howard
regrets
to
announce
the
untimely
passing
of
a
matriarch
of
the
bisexual
community
&
a
major
figure
in
the
modern
LGBT
rights
movement.
She
was
a
founding
mother
of
NYABN"
There
are
so
many
tributes
out
there
to
Brenda,
that
we
are
going
to
post
a
few

here
for

tell
them
“A
bisexual
woman
named
Brenda
Howard
thought
it
should
be"
by
Tom
Limoncelli.
Brenda
fought
for
all
our
rights
from
the
early
days
of
1969
until
shortly
before
her
death.
We
all
have
to
wonder
if
we
would
be
willing
to
go
to
jail
for
our
rights
and
more
important
other's
rights
as
Brenda
did.
We
invite
you
to
browse
through
the
pictures
provided
by
many
of
her
friends
to
the
NYABN
galleries.
Her
contributions
will
not
be
forgotten
and
groups
are
making
sure
of
that,
including
the
following:
"
The
Queens
Chapter
of
PFLAG
(Parents,
Families
and
Friends
of
Lesbians
and
Gays)
announces
the
creation
of
the
"Brenda
Howard
Award"
in
memory
of
the
late
bisexual
activist
Brenda
Howard."

about
fighting
for
