jade
Jade a stone of much repute,
Jade so precious , none dispute.
Pass’d now from mortal coil,
Age and illness no longer spoil.
Once met, ne’er forgotten,
She shone, so softly spoken.
As gentle spirit calm and loving,
Building Realm, memorial so fitting.
Rest thy soul now in peace,
Given the final surcease.
Spirit freed from bonds physic,
Fly and dance in realms mystic.
A line , a verse, only falter,
Cannot what’s past alter.
Memories loving surely last,
Remember the sweetness that has passed.
In the memory live on still,
Sweet, gentle, loving girl.
Those who knew, loved you well,
Shedding tears, of love doth tell.
Let us now rejoice we knew,
One so caring , one so true.
In our prayers lift thy spirit,
To the Elysian fields ye merit.
Written in February of 1999 by Caedfel in loving memory of
a wonderful woman named Jade from all at ATR.
I wanted to wait until this year had passed to add my own thoughts and
experiences with jade. I met her on a mailing list for owners and
developers of D/s web sites. She was witty, sharp, intelligent,
and dedicated to both helping others with their web sites, and
also to the excellence and responsibility of web sites.
In Sept. 1998, both Lord Colm and jade visited ATR on austnet.
At the time I did not know she was ill, again she was quick,
witty, and so very bright, she lit up the chat channel, even
through her computer screen, and her devotion to Lord Colm
just shone in her words. Her writings on their web site
both helped me heal as an abuse survivor, but also
guided we wisely in my search of a new Master.
I have kept all of the emails ever received by her, and
the logs. I shall not forget what one so young gave
to one who was much older but just beginning
on this road again.
