*This
obituary was submitted by Lord Sean of NOBLE.*
Lady
Dianne was 38, a respected member of the community for
six years, an associate member of NOBLE since its
conception, and was previously a member of Rubicon of
New Orleans. She was an office manager in Chalmette and
is survived by her Father, Mother, and two children, and
by her leather family, deb and lea. A lover of animals,
she served as a Mommybird to her "babies": two
cockatoos, a sun conure, three cockateils, three
parakeets, and a love bird. She had also been on the
NOBLE Dungeon Monitor team, and was a friend to all.
The
details are still sketchy on exactly how she passed, but
suffice it to say she perished in the storm, Katrina.
Condolences
may be posted in the guestbook.

*This remembrance was

i don't even know where
to start to talk about Lady Dianne.
i first met her at a
munch at CC's coffee on Maple Street in early 2000. She
was wandering around, looking lost and scared, and i
just knew she was looking for us kink folk.
She was new new new and
it was my pleasure to watch her grow into this thing we
are and become the beautiful full woman she was. She was
stubborn beyond belief and that is why she refused to
leave her home [during Hurricane Katrina]. She was loved
by many and if you ever wanted to get a rise out of her,
talk about censorship! She hated inequity in anything,
it didn't matter who you were, what position you held,
if you were wrong you needed to be called on it. She was
true and loyal and will be missed by anyone she touched
in her time with our group.
i will miss her
beautiful smile more than she will ever know.
that is the Lady Dianne
i knew and loved.
