that we report Michael Prince, renowned
scene photographer passed away suddenly February

Mistresses and fetish scenes at the most prestegious
houses in New York City. He had also
taken many photos throughout the community, including
many of the S/M Clubs and venues in New York.
Michael was a long time activist in the Community. He also

Michael Prince, Friend, Community Activist, dedicated Scene
historian photographer, and a true gentleman.
Michael you entered into many of our lives around 1993, with
a curiosity about the scene & its members. We met you while
you were looking for your particular nitch. You brought into
our world a unique loving gruffness that poured into love &
dedication. You were always there; to listen to someone's problems,
help them if you could, many times at your own expense or loss
of time from business. You always had a kind, loving thought,
or comment. But spoke your mind & held to your beliefs.
Your talents as a player grew, from novice to experience. You
cared & shared. Your Expertise in photography brought joy
to countless people in our community worldwide. Whether it was
a Photo shoot, with some of the most renowned Mistress's, Masters,
& Slaves. Or shooting film for Countless Charities, &
Organizations, & events; you always looked at helping, documenting
the event. There were any times you gave your services for free
or at a loss of income & time to you. I'll always remember
When you approached me, & offered your services to Mothers
March Against aids NYC. You photographed our events, & brought
new life into them. Lives not seen by outsiders until your pictures
were published nationally. You were a friend. You called to
see how I was doing many times. When HellFire Closed You checked
on all of us, offered your time & help in any way shape
or form. I will always treasure the photo's you took. But most
important I will treasure being able to have had you as a friend.
You were truly a man Amongst Men.
